Cloudveil Mountain Works started in 1997 by two avid backcountry skiers. The brand was the expression of their love of the outdoors and a drive to build better, more functional apparel. The whole idea started when they were given a pair of stretch woven pants that allowed cooling to circulate, but were constructed from a tough fabrication. From this Cloudveil was born.
