Michael joined Windsong Global in 2021, bringing 25 years of operational expertise across management, marketing and investing.

Prior to Windsong, Michael was a Partner at Platform Ventures, a consumer-centric venture and capital management firm with early positions in Peloton (IPO 2021), Beam Dental and Money Lion (IPO 2021) among others. Platform provided growth capital behind good brands in expanding categories and applied direct operational acumen to support management in unlocking growth in consumer categories including fitness, personal care, consumer packaged goods and products.

Prior to Platform Ventures, Michael was CEO of Match, a North American marketing agency network with over 500 employees, 8 offices and $650M+ revenue. At Match, Michael set the growth strategy and coordinated the agency’s omni-channel resources and architected its digital content platform. Michael oversaw two transformational and three tuck-in acquisitions leading to Match’s acquisition in 2018. Prior to Match, Michael was a founder of Circle One, a marketing agency which developed early expertise in the content and digital retail space attracting large consumer products and service clients such as Gillette, P&G and Diageo. Circle One was acquired by Beringer Capital in 2013. Prior to Circle One, Michael held senior roles within Grey Global Group and Interpublic.


Michael sits on the board of directors of HRB, Algenist, Tone It Up and Tommie Copper and has held board and advisory roles at Loeb NYC, Prospect Farms and Adweek. Michael attended Yale and currently lives in Charleston, South Carolina, but spends significant time in Westport Connecticut.
